Head Shots make-up

I had someone ask me if I do head shot make-up. I told them not at this time, but I will contact you when i am available.

Truth is, I don't know the difference. I thought it was just kind of the glam make-up done in natural colors.

Any help? suggestions on how to do make-up for headshots (both BLK & White and Color)

FABATV has some Makeup classes. I would suggest YouTube as well.

Tons of makeup tutorials. Might have to be clever with search i.e. glamour, model, etc.

Head shots are what models and actors use in their portfolios. Generally they are "normal" looks... day make-up.

I have to admit, I avoid straight makeup work. I am not a trained makeup artist and I do not have the range of concealers, foundation shades and other beauty makeup products required for the work.

Want me to make you into the Snow Queen? A zombie? A swamp monster? Sure thing. "Make me pretty in foundation and natural tones that suit my face and the right sort of eyebrows." Errrrrrrr.....

I am "trained" in theatrical make-up---We only used Ben Nye in my classes and didn't even know there were different kinds until I joined up here!!

When I had my head shots done--over a decade ago--they used different make up and no matter how I tried I could not duplicate it--
