HELP! - Creative ideas for Saudi National Day Needed!!!

If I had anything good to give away I would make this a challenge!

Ok so my problem is I got an enquiry to do five hours of face painting at a big uni here in Australia for Saudi National Day - but I can't think of any good ideas! She said she would just want something really simple because the flag is way too hard to paint (I googled it - it so is!), so she would just want some green and white or 'I love KSA'.

The problem is I tried that but it just looks so basic and kiddy that I would feel ashamed to paint it on adults and I want to send some pics with samples of what I could paint to try and get the job but I really don't think what I've come up with so far would get me anywhere.

The other annoying thing is that she asked about my prices and I told her my party price which is $50 for the first hour and $30 for each consecutive hour after that. She was shocked by that and asked for a discount, but I would have to travel 2 hours to get there so I have to add on a fair price for travel too. It's not for charity so I'm not prepared to offer a discount. So that is why I want to try and impress her with some photos.

Anyway, so what I am trying to create is a male and a female design - the male basically just a simple cheek art that is like the flag but not exactly, and for the female I would love to do some swirly eye design in green and white for the Saudi colours.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!!

I'd say it has to be one of the top ten hardest flags in the world! Trust me to get asked about that when I'm just starting out!

I did a Libya freedom party last year - their flag is nice and easy but I was only asked for one in two hours.

I would say to stick with using the colours in normal designs.

come up with something with the sword---anything else about Saudi that stands out?--in America we have fire workds--
so maybe you can find something simpler

Yeah I would use the sword because it stands out. Maybe paint the sword handle in green and the blade in silver or white and then write saudi on the blade

How badly do you *need* this job? It's four hours of driving for a person not even willing to pay your retail rate, which, by the way, is dead cheap.

How many hours? Unless it's most of a day, I wouldn't even bother. You'll spend it all on petrol!
