This is my first of appointments this year. He wanted to blend into the darkness, he wanted 3 eyes, and he was worried about his beard and mustache.

I've been wanting to try out the MArk Reid sugar skull for a while and I finally got my chance.

I'm totally blown away by that dragon (?)...standing back and looking at it, it doesn't appear first off like a face painting...AMAZING job!!!....I can only hope that one day I'll be as good!

This was the design I painted on my dad yesterday. We won 3rd place at the fantasy worldwide facepainting contest

Yeah, only third, but I'm lucky I got a prize at all, so I'm happy :-)
In this contest you're obligated to have a costume that matches the facepaint (you can get disqualified for not having a costume). I originally had a female Model and costume. My model called in sick the evening before the contest (enter panick)
I started looking for a replacement fast, but didn't find one.
So my dad agreed to be my model. We arrived at the contest, I explained the situation with the sick model, and they understood and were impressed that my dad agreed to be my model for the day.

My original design was very feminine, so I couldn't use that...
Long story short, I just did this design out of the blue, without preparation, didn't have a costume, and am very glad with my 3rd place :-)

Cincinnati Bengals Sugar Skull Who Dey

I'm a newbie, first time to post my own face. I did my grand daughters birthday party a couple years back. Wanted to start face painting as business. So I came into some unexpected money, so invested in making a kit. I've only painted about 8 faces, but was hooked after the 1st one.  First attempt with new paints, and first one in two years. I can say it is not easy painting your own face in a mirror so don't laugh.

Welcome to the face paint world. We all know that feeling of painting our first face and being hooked, we where all there at one point or another hehe.
For only have painted a few times your line work is great! That very top tear drop is perfect! you cant ask for better, nice curve and thick to thin line. beautiful!

Here's my costume this year.  I was a Spider Witch.  I was going to be just a normal witch but then was tagged with Spiders in the game Tag your it hehe.  I had fun with it!

My Son was Yoda as you can see and wouldnt let me paint him,  My daughter changed her costume 3 times in the day but ended up finally with a fairy she named Fumbee (no clue where she got the name but that's what she informed me she was lol) so i finally got to paint at least one of them lol.

Today I've had a halloween party.. So I can show you my work. Not complete happy.. I make the same mistake with my vampire teeth everytime!!!

For the adults I've used inspiration pictures.. I found the eye somewhere over here... so if you think it looks a lot like the one you've made? But this one is mine hihihi.

Daphne, great faces how many did you paint? How long did it take you to do them all.

The eye took me the most time, think 45 min.
I was there all night, but it was at a friends place, so I stayed over for diner, and we had chats between the painting. Also between the kids there was (to much) time.

Here is some of my work from the haunted house. The bloody zombie was all Halloween cream makeup from the store, the rest was mostly my TAG paints. (except the clown red was cream makeup)
