Halloween pics to share!

Using the inspiration of the one in American Face Painter magazine, I used Freeta to paint it up. The eyes came out way to big, due to my three foot long parrot insisting on being a shoulder buddy while I painted. To save time when I paint the kids, I will use a short stem and have the center of the spider web at the side of hairline, raidiating out from there to the punkin ; )






I used Snaz Sparkling orange, red & green, electric green & blue, black, white & brown

Very nice detail on the animals. I don't paint the small things well. They end up looking like blobs.

wow.......That compliment means a lot coming from a pro like you! Which contest were you talking about? I would have LOVED to have entered him, unfortunately, I didn't paint him until Sunday the 11th. (I've never entered a contest before)

Heres one thats becoming popular with the young girls...they were calling it the "emo skull". I kinda screwed up on the teeth, I think I was trying to hurry too much.

I don't know why.. but the kids also like the dripping black from the eyes too lol . I don't mind it at allll, its such an easy one to do and puff on glitter and done!

Metina, how much would you charge for the Halloween cake?

I'm totally going to try the emo skull out tonight on my practice head!

Thank you Katy & Debi, so glad you like the Punkin Mask. I added it to my site, painted up the one of proform heads with Pashur's Dragon and only have one more to go, then I'll post them. I hope to get four more heads for my classes

OH Debi!!!! I went to your site and realized I got my inspiration for my avitar dragon's smile and the one in the circle on my site (I did a year ago) FROM YOUR gorgeous arm dragon I love! I have since PM'd you, but will respond here as well. The Halloween Cake is 20 grams for $10(prices may be adjusted as these are tested). It will also come with a free speed sponge sample giving the example of how I load my rainbows for best application. I will use my own cake to load so yours is still nice and new.

I think it is safe to assume you are able to beg, borrow and steal any inspiration posted. You just can't print someones picture and post it as your own. After you paint it, photograph it and it is fine to post. Correct me if I am wrong ladies.

I would also be honored if anyone used something I came up with. Isn't imatation the highest form of flattery?

Susan- Cool! glad you liked my dragon Yours came out so cute, love the wings!

Oh the pug has a temporary tat I airbrushed on him so I don't think he would qualify on the snaz site. The red thing on her cheek is actually a heart to go with the whole girly emo theme. BTW- If winger is your last name...we have the same last name!

I use DFX white, but one trick I use it to make a dippy pot. It is basically a small glitter container with a lid. I put a small amount of paint in it with boiling water(just a tad, you can always add more, but can't take away). Stir like crazy to get a nice thickness. Not too thick, but just a tad thicker than I would paint a line with. Usually have to reactive it each job and add paint, but it makes for super white dots and accents.

I keep this at each job. It is basically my own home made details. It is the thickness of the mehron liquid paint. But don't try the mehron for this, it isn't as bright. I tried to save time cause I had some. No dice.

The "girly" skeleton is cool. My daughter is going to be a punk princess for halloween and this face will be the eerie she needs!
