iPads...I'd love to hear what you think!

So I am absolutely stoked because today i got my first iPad! I know I'm probably a bit behind the 8 ball, more than half of the 7 year olds in my class had them before me! Lol but all afternoon my brain has been ticking through all the face painting things I could use it for, i'm thinking of making appointments for gigs in the calendar, taking it with me on gigs so I can tell people my availability on the spot, emailing confirmation of bookings, making inspiration boards on the pinterest app, and posting on here of course!!

I was really just wondering if anyone had one that they use for anything in the scope of face painating, and if you have found awesome apps?

I use mine for all that And also googling images when they ask for something I don't know what it looks like or is.

Our family prefers the Cozi app for calendars and lists, but you have to find the calendar that works best for you. I also use a program called TapForms to take all my booking information, you can set all the fields you need and it exports to a spreadsheet for backing up.

I've got all my inspiration pictures on my tablet.

I have all my facepainting that I have done in one folder and all the ones I can offer in different folders(inspiration) ... Since I don't have many pics for a display board, i took it to a birthday party and let the kids scroll thru it... Also I have about 35 face painting videos that I can watch when I am on the road..LJY, Becstar, etc. My little girl loves to watch them too...Mine is the ipad original...

I use informant pro for calendar so I can sync it across my phone, iPad and computer w google calendar. I also have the square register ap for taking $$$ which I like better than the iPhone- you can program it w all the different prices & ad ons. And for my photography biz I have an ap for contracts & model releases.

I google and what not. I do save ideas on it but I don't take it with me to any gigs for risk of it being misplaced/broken etc.
