Colorini is THE BOMB!
Colorini is a temporary tattoo ink that is safe for the skin & lasts several days or can be removed w/ rubbing alcohol.
I bought Temptu last year in August, played w/ it a bit, but never liked it. It was never a product I felt could be used in real time on the job & put out quality work I was proud of (it now sits in my closet of rejected body paint shame.....)
This summer has been extremely hot. I love glitter tattoos, but often the boys reject the idea (even with mica, just because the word glitter is associated with it...). The boys see all the girls getting glitter & walk on by....
So I bit my lip & bought a Colorini set ($60)... ouch. My 1st impression was... Oh... These bottles are VERY small & I've been jipped again... But after watching a tutorial on YouTube I gave it a go....
.... This stuff is amazing! It has a very short learning curve (did I mention I never got the hang of Temptu). You can mix the colors to make new colors, & lighten it up w/ white. You can use it thicker for bolder colors & lines & thin it out w/ 91% rubbing alcohol for a wash or more watercolor look (70% rubbing alcohol makes it clumpy & messy so go w/ the 91%). You can freehand it or use your glitter tattoo stencils w/ a brush or sponge (I prefer sponge). It dries very fast, but you just dip into the alcohol& swirl in the paint to reactivate it. They say you get about 200 tattoos w/ each bottle & I believe it. I only used about a drop to 2 drops for each color, except the black... 3-4 I think. I mix it in a pallet.
I see tons of potential & now that I'm in love will probably go get the neons!

Re: Colorini is THE BOMB!
Pretty, It is been in my whish list for ever, the first video I saw the paint bleeded thru the stencil and took ages to dry, the 4th of July at my festival there where kids selling colorini tattoos for $2 dollars and they looked crispier than mine, now that I saw the video using a sponge I want to try, I only bought black, how long it last?
Re: Colorini is THE BOMB!
hmmm..this is the first I have heard of it, interesting. I am going to try it, it looks very cool.
Re: Colorini is THE BOMB!
LOL!
I haven't tried it w/ a stencil, but I've heard it works better w/ a sponge (and you can wash the sponge in rubbing alcohol).
I've read it lasts 3-5 days, so I'm planning on taking a pic each day to see how well it lasts.
$2/tattoo? That seems cheap for this. I'm probably going to ask $5-$10 for stenciled tattoos & I think I can get $10-$15 for a freehand design....
