Butterflies Help!

I love doing butterflies and I know how to do the shape of the butterfly really well but I fall flat on designing the inside of the butterfly wings, I usually leave it plain and do white dots all around the outside. The kinds love it but I would love to do some more to it! Anyone have step by steps or beautiful pictures of your own detailed butterflies?

I played around. I dont do butterflies but this took me around 7 minutes

It really is i love the swirls in the butterfly it'll definitely be put in my inspiration folder! What colors did you use for that is it a rainbow cake?

These are some of mine, but I change my butterflies at will... I hate doing the same designs over and over again, so these are just some random examples:

The only place were I do special detailed butterflies is at birthday parties, other way they are always the same with different colors.[img][/img]

I like this one. I seen some butterflies but I always think they look too grown for lil girls. This my fav

Aww i love all these designs im really trying to work on the design inside the wing so mine doesnt look so plain anymore

I love all these butterflies! Definitely saving lots of them to my inspiration folder. I need more people to practice on!
