so I have my first paid birthday party...I think

We are camping in the U.P. of MI...eh? LOL My daughter had a bad health emergency and ended up in an ER in the middle of nowhere.
Then I get a call.

Next week is my son's 10th birthday party. We would like you face paint before the scavenger hunt.

So I've been playing phone tag with this woman, who is super sweet while a hundred odd miles away from home to try to set up the birthday party contract.

And then my son gets sick.

Can you say stressed?

But it's my first birthday party! Yay? Maybe?

I have done others for friends as trade but this is someone I'm not friends with and just met at the trout festival I did

The trout fest I did was different as it rained then was sunny for an hour then rained then was sunny for an hour. It was like that ALL day. Ugh.
