I remember something similar from when I was a kid. They were puff balls with googly eyes and antennae, but they had giant felt feet with adhesive sticker bottoms (peel off the paper and, voila, stick it to your dashboard!). Some had hats, some had little tags with messages on them. Yep, nothing like a "Wuppy".

Great characters love the story

These little creature were around in the 70's here in Australia. As a child I had them stuck over everything.
I too have joined the Wuppie FB group and begun painting them. Had one on my arm the other day when I was teaching and the kids all LOVED him, especially his wobbly eyes. Guess he will be joining my choice board next market day.

When I was a kid we had a book (I think it was "I'm OK you're OK" or "Free to be You and Me") and it had stories about "warm fuzzies" and "Cold pricklies"... I always pictured the "warm fuzzy" like those
