Quick Halloween designs

Hey there! I'm going to be painting at a Halloween gig, and I need several quick designs that can move the line. Anyone willing to share some quick and easy Halloween designs?

I would check under the Halloween challenge we had and remember you can turn anything to halloween by changing up the colors to say yellow and orange, adding a few blood drops, fangs, a few spider webs here and there and a bat or two. I have a posted a halloween butterfly for ya!

I really want to do a video of it, but just haven't gotten around to it.

buy the halloween foam stamps at Micheal's and use those and then add details. VERY FAST!

So you you used them before, Ashley? Do they load pretty easy with the face paints?

Not specifically for Halloween, but I bought some of those foam stamps to play with (butterfly, bugs, etc). They did load fast (just brushed on what colors I wanted and they also dipped into damp face paint fairly easy if you use the bigger containers) and they transferred to skin nicely. They definitely need some more 'glamming up' with glitter and some more line work. But could be fast depending on how long you tend to 'futz around' with your stuff!

Oh Metina...I love your Halloween Butterfly...would you mind if I made a Youtube with it? It's so cute! I'd give you full 'Inspired by Metina of Face Paint Forum' credit for it!

yea, I'll post some pics later if I can remember.. They have a large variety.. they load easily, and you can double load them with colors. You can add a background(i.e. I have a stamp of a scary looking tree, so I paint in a sky and ground, stamp the tree and add some tiny stars and glitter and you're done!)

My favs for Halloween are:
-A yellow moon with a black bat stamp on top
-A yellow moon with a black cat stamp on top
-Pumpkin stamp, outlined in black and with green vines added
-Candy Corn stamp(triple loaded in white, yellow and orange) and outlined with swirls
-sky and background and stars with scary tree stamp
-skull stamp in white, with black outline

ETC...

Here is a link to see some of the kinds of stamps available.. they go on clearance for VERY cheap after the holidays(they make stamps for every holiday!) This pic has stuff that is very similar to what I already have...

I would love it if you plugged the forum. It is something I have wanted to do and even bought a web came for. Just finding the time and "nerve" to do it.

How do you edit the film after you make it? Is there a free program at there to do some simple things?

My windows has one called Windows movie maker... Might check your program files, maybe you have something already?

I just use Windows movie maker that comes with your computer. I usually do photo pictorials, but I have a REAL video camera now...I just need to figure out how to work it, then transfer it and 'edit' an actual video, not just the still pics I usually use!

I think I need one of my boys to volunteer to help me out!
