Help with quick boy 30 second designs

Hi guys I have only just started painting and have been asked to paint at a student fundraiser at a my kids old primary school. I am donating my time and thought it would be great practice. The kids will have limited time. I really only have time for quick 30second designs ! I love split cakes and have the girls sorted but not sure what to offer boys aged from 4 - 12. Any suggestions? Was thinking bullet hole, gravel rash Maybe a skull ? I want to narrow it down to two young and two older boy designs.

here are some small (one stroke designs) I did a couple of months ago..

Definitely throw a spider in there. Those can be super fast. My scorpion is maybe 90 seconds. A snake with a split cake can be 60-90 seconds. The scorpion is done with a small angled flat brush. Lisa Joy Young (Mark Reid) inspired the shape of it, but I simplified it by just making it black. I usually wouldn't post these because they are just line busters and not up to the caliber of the amazing painters on here... but for 90 seconds, they work.


Both of these designs are one side of the face designs... but I did them on my arm just to practice. I do the snake differently now, but same general concept. split cake dark and light green.... oval.. then long "tube". add a few tiger stripes and a tongue in black. 90 seconds.

oh... um, sports balls are super fast. baseball...football...ect.

Me too! I relate to how you feel, Kat--but then you just proved once again that every candle brings light! Thank you! I really dislike "too fast" lines--doesn't give me enough time to play with all my little friends...NEVER thought of a volleyball (how brainless of me...)

I do a spider web from one eye with a spider hanging down, and also just two horns over the eyes, white horns, then black to draw in where they 'sprout' out of the skin, basic pirate eye patch and stubble, cut with stitches...

Love the horn idea! Ima have to try that!

More great ideas! Funny isn't it that once everyone starts brain storming there are so many more options than you thought possible. my trouble is that I love all the elaborate designs that some of the quick ones don't seem enough. But with possibly over 300 kids speed is king.
