white paint and black lights
Hello All,
I had a gig last night that wanted me to use neon paints that would glow under black lights. I brought my neon paints and also DFX white for line work and was surprised that the white paint did not glow.
Does anyone know if there is a brand of white that glows?
Is there such a thing as neon white?

Yes! I just got some - Wolfe has a Neon White and I believe that DFX does, too - they are specifically called "Neon White"
I also found that the Orange GlitterMark glows very nicely in black light...

The Wolfe Neon white coverage is thin and insipid. I followed Shannon Fennell's advice and now paint regular white and top it off with the Neon White. The Neon White also glows through other paint, so be careful of drippy paint splots.
Also,
Suzy Sparkles Neon Liquid Glitter glows under UV/BlackLight.

I top regular white with the wolfe neon white also.
There are a few silly farm rainbow cakes I use for neon gigs also. I always take Juicy Fruit, and I use Bahama Breeze also. The neon strips blend well into the colors around them and help make the entire design pop nicely under blacklight.

The wolfe Neon White Glows very well, but it does not come off when you wash it. It lingers for a few days actually. You can't see it unless you are in black light, but it stay there. I did some practice and took pics, then the next day when I tried to do new pics, the white was still there like a ghost..lol
