Questions about face bling
What jems/jewels do you use for bling? Can it be anything? How do you attach it? With the same glue as glitter tats? Doesn't that mean the gems/jewels are there for days after the paint is gone?
I'm thinking about having a play with these but have no idea where to start.

Re: Questions about face bling
Eyelash glue can be used for sure but it has latex in it, so there could be allergic reactions if your model is sensitive to latex. My Dad completely breaks out if touched by latex, (not that he wears gems,LOL)
Silly farm has a couple of options in the body painting section, I believe, not sure if Metina sells it in the forum shop but you could check it out.

Can't remember where I saw it but there was an adhesive for jewels that was listed as latex free. Anybody know more?

Re: Questions about face bling
I buy latex-free eyelash glue at my local Shopper's Drug Mart. It is right beside the false eyelashes. It is clear.
I buy bling wherever I can, dollar stores, Michael's Crafts, WalMart. I am not picky about where I get the jewels. (The larger the jewel, the easier it falls off.) Some have peel & stick bling. I do not know if that kind of glue is skin safe.
Happy Blinging!

Cool, I honestly didn't know that there was latex free eyelash glue, I will get some. I don't do bling alot but would like to start.
Re: Questions about face bling
I use Michael's self-adhesive jewels from their scrapbooking dept. They have a ton of colors to choose from and they are only $1.00 for a generous amount. They stick to NON-PAINTED areas just fine... remove the paint with a damp cotton swap if you need to place one where you've already painted... give it a few seconds to dry first then stick on the jewel.
Re: Questions about face bling
I also use self-adhesive jewels that I bought in Office Max. I think it's like 100 pieces for $1. I'll have to check again. I tested one out yesterday to see how long it will stick on there and I completely forgot about it and wore it all day on my hand.

Metina has the latex-free adhesive in the shop. Found it with the glitters.
