I made my own bling face painting shirt......

Ever since I saw this kind of shirt I've wanted one. I tried ordering it over the internet, but didn't get response to my numerous queries. So I went on youtube & learnt how to apply rhinestones to clothes. Ordered some materials from Ebay & bought a shirt & tardar my very own bling shirt. If I had ordered it off the net I would have paid around $30-$35 Aus plus postage from the US to Tasmania, this way it has only cost me $5 for the shirt & $10 in materials which I still have heaps left & plan to use them on another shirt or two or three

YEAH Mandi! I like the cutome made one better! The ones on line never fit me properly. They're too short & ride up in the back each time I bend over(it was worse when I used to sit & paint).

No it was so easy. You just need the transfer paper & rhinestones. Print out your lettering from your computer in mirror image so that it's back to front, put your transfer paper down use some sticky tape to hold it in position, peel the back sheet off the transfer paper. Then place your rhinestones pretty side done on the sticky transfer paper, this part is time consuming but sooooo worth it. Once your finished all the lettering, pre wash your chosen shirt. Set your iron to wool setting & position where you want your bling to go on your shirt place the transfer paper sticky side down & just hold the iron on the bling lettering for 30 seconds - DON'T WRIGGLE THE IRON OR YOU WILL MOVE THE RHINESTONES - then repeat a couple of times. Allow it to cool completely before you remove the sticky transfer paper. Then scratch over the rhinestones with your fingernails to make sure they have all stuck. It really was so fun, I've gone bling mad.

This too was a problem for me the size. I did email to try & find out sizing that would suit me, but as I said they didn't reply. But hey I wasn't going to let that stop me from getting a bling shirt for work.

I just love to share something that I've done & found to be so easy yet so stunning when finished. As these above links are to an Australian ebay store I'm sure from the info you obtain you'll be able to find exactly what you need where ever you are in the world.
