Wow Margie! The designs look amazing! You are a natural! I am with Metina, be sure to post the pics of the stains. Remember, the stain will darken of the next 24-72 hours

It's kind of messy I did it laying down in bed but a good 2nd attempt. Metina was my first. It did get real dark - I will post 2 pictures later -morning after and today. Going to Tai Chi!

Thanks - I am looking forward to learning more - I am so drawn to the patterns and meanings.
Re: Henna Supplies Wanted
Interesting idea of using chocolate for henna, especially during the valentines season. Think you could sell that to couples? Again, interesting......mmh

Re: Henna Supplies Wanted
Criss, the problem is that it does melt off as the body temp warms it.
I don't charge extra for glitter. It's just part of what I do, like with face paint.
If I gild the design, or add color stains, then I charge extra.

I love the chocolate tip...NOW I feel like I can practice on me and still fp later without looking like a hennaed zombie! THANK YOU!

You can actually use ANY flavor (in case you don't like or can't have chocolate) of frosting as long as it doesn't have "chunks" of anything in it.
You thin the frosting to a nice consistency by adding a bit of corn syrup.
That's what I missed.....I've been using water, and it's never as great as it was in class. I'm off to practice, Thanks for clearing that up. Erika, you are the best!!!
