So the husband wants to make a zombie movie..thanks netflix

My husband has always had a fondness for ..what I like to call z grade movies. He loves indi zombie movies, and thanks to netflix we now have a plethera of them to watch. They even grade them to his preferences. Anywho, he has made comments for years about how he is gonna make his own. Now I think he is really serious, he has been working out characters and a plot. To each their own, I have actually grown to appreciate these movies over the years, and don't tell him, but occasionally really enjoy one.

Now, I think through I can turn this to my advantage...Through browsing the internet tonight and looking for info on classes, I think that I have figured out that the Midwest Haunters Convention is in columbus the week I want to take the Pashur class. Pashur and the Wolfe Brothers are doing gorish workshops. I wonder if I told him I really needed to take some of these classes for his "Zombie" movie, if he'd go for it. Anyway just plotting out loud

On a side note, he just brought up go to a survival seminar host by one of the guys from dual survival, that cost 200 dollars and I shot it down, I should of really thought about how bad I want to go to these workshops before I did that

Eva, If you do end up at the MHC I'm going to be taking the Wolfe class. I LOVED making myself and my boyfriend zombies for halloween, so I'm hot to learn more gory tricks. Maybe I'll see you there!

Thanks Amanda, but the plan didn't work not for this year anyway. However he said it may be something to budget for next year

I'm looking to go too... and the cost for the two days of workshops is reasonable... That is, if I can come up with the dough. If not, I may just road trip for the vendor room!

And, doing the movie thing is fun/exhausting. I did one last summer... had a blast.
