NEW!!! TAG YOU"RE IT! 5 minute designs!

Ok. Here are my attempts at Renaissance Baroque. The one on my arm was a true 5 minute design. The one with my eye was 5 mins for the design in solid back and then nearly that much to go over with gold. I just used my black and gold DFX though it would have been much faster if I had some Detailz. Also, that darn eye kept getting in my way!

by the way; when I said "I'm not sure" on Chacha's design it was not about the design but about impressionism; if I liked that. Liked the design though!

Thanks everyone . Everything I found on Baroque had lots of gold thick swirls. I tried just outlining the gold but it didn't have the right feel for me and all black looked too tribal...

For me, it did take a while to cover the black with the gold since I had to keep cleaning off my brush tip to apply fresh gold as it disappeared into the black... Others might have more secrets for handling this.

EricaH I think your technique on the 2nd one hit the nail on the head! Baroque is very ornate, carved and your design seemed to lift and have dimension as it it were carved. It's definitely on my "to do" technique list.....No worries maaike

I got the tag, and will get something posted tomorrow. Have to rangle up a model... cuz I have a really hard time with depth when I paint myself...not sure why.

Ok... Sorry it took so long ... never got my hands on a willing model...

So I will apologize now for the canvas... I wanted it to go over the eyes kinda like a mask, First time painting it, trying to figure out where to put what... but I will put what I had at the 5 min mark, then the end result, took about 12 mins.

I am new to this forum and have never posted before... I saw this game you were playing and was inspired to share a design I painted on myself. It is inspired by the artist Gustav Klimt's Tree of Life painting. This would fall under the art deco style.
I have a degree in Fine Art... face painting is new for me... but by far my favorite medium...

I am SOOO SORRY! I was looking forward to this so much and it's just been too stupid busy! I have had 14 brides so far, not to mention parties and face paint gigs, so I will have to wait until mid july before I will have the time to give this the care it deserves! Much love and could I be put down farther on the list? I understand the 'snooze you lose' so even the bottom would be great! Again.....SO SORRY - My bad!!!!
