Arty cake practice.

I was just practicing with my new arty cakes. My roses and tear drops need some work. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated...Thanks[img][/img]

Your designs are very pretty. I use a large flat brush to make an arty cabbage rose. I make my shape a little fuller like the rose is more open. I can't really see from your photo what you mean about your tear drops? Is it that they are not making a true tear drop shape? I push down and drag inward except around the eye I do it thin to thick then. They look pretty in your picture to me.

THanks. I think that I may have to break down and create a split cake with red and white for my roses. The cake I have only has pink and white. Wish me luck......
