Jack Frost is great for boys. Also a skull w/ holly or snowmen. I did a bunch of them last year. I don't have pics(I didn't have a camara last year).
Re: Best tips for speedy holiday painting
here's a fast angel with wings and halo...you can omit the angel to suit your purposes and here's a Jack Frost nipping at your nose done on me by Pashur that would be great for girls or boys
Re: Best tips for speedy holiday painting
OMG! such a cute idea to put little sans hats on the Dino and shark!
There's a YouTube on a "ice pixie" for boys. I'll try to find it later when I'm on a real computer.

I sawthis of all places, on a pair of socks and wanted to paint it. Sorry it is a little blurry but I thought the idea was cute and easy.

Thanks. I get so many ideas on this forum. It was nice to be able to put something up that someone else might be able to use for once.

I also like the spider. I will have to practice that because I have a gig next Saturday. I know kids will probably want all the usual stuff, but I really hope I can do some holiday and winter designs. It's such a fun change of pace.

That spider is awesome! I never thought to add a hat to the one I do... Love the skeleton - you must have taken a class with the Wolfe brothers =).

Re: Best tips for speedy holiday painting
Loving the idea of adding the santa hat!!! I have been trying to come up with a new facepaint a day leading up to Christmas on facebook and am quickly running out of ideas
Re: Best tips for speedy holiday painting
Love the holiday designs that have been posted. I have to remember them when my mind goes blank for something different!
I asked Pashur the same question after his Workshop and he said "no step-by-steps at all but posting the final photo is ok".

Love all the regular designs with all the Santa hats
Daizy, I was drooling over your designs on Facebook earlier this week! I just love the way you take a simple design and turn it into a work of art! Gorgeous!

Re: Best tips for speedy holiday painting
Alright, I've got a few I've tried recently to share...
Here's Santa's helper...
I love this little polar bear inspired by Lone Wolf's design...it's so fast and easy, even on squiggly kids like this 3 year old.
My Grinches are my first attempts, I have plans to make them better. I really liked Charity's. I tried a version of her Mistletoe design.
I simplified Jennifer's light necklace...it's something fun to 'wear' at a Christmas gig.

Re: Best tips for speedy holiday painting
This was a favourite this weekend at my xmas gig, super quick and easy. Most kids just wanted the usual rainbow butterflies, monsters etc. I did do a few xmas trees as well but the boys were a bit too cool for xmas.
