Ok....I had one for Thanksgiving...here is one for Christmas! This is another 'totally original' design. I don't think I've seen anything quite like this. I was shopping for a poinsettia and it inspired me!

OOO LA LA!

Just so you know, it only took 4 hours from start to completion..haha...

However, I was a multi-tasking mommy during it all. Baths and dressing for three boys, diaper changes, making dinner and cleaning up. Taking a BUNCH of pictures at every stage so that there would be a thorough 'step by step' progression....fending off the hubby...

/whew

It was sad to wash it off when I finally got to bed!

Thank you for the lovely comments! I wish I could wear this one every day until Christmas! I don't think I have an hour or two every morning to paint it though!

Okay. Im calling this X-mas Mascarade.
I used my essentials wolfe essentials Dark Green, Light Green, White, Red, Yellow and Black. I used brushes number 3,4 and 6.


I used Dark Green with a #4 Brush to make the leafy circles and the white with a #6 brush to make the cane.

Then I used light green with my #4 brush again to create shading in the reef.

Then I used Red with my #4 brush to make the ribbon and bow, and to create my candy cane lines.
I used a #3 with dark green to make the wires above the reef.

Then I used the number three to create tear drops on the wires using red and yellow to make the christmas lights. Lastly I used my #3 in black to make the detail of the leafs on the reef and to outline the bow and candy cane (you may want to use a smaller brush for finer lines).

Its a very gloomy day and chance of rain here in SD So I didn't set up today in the park to paint faces ...instead I painted mine!

I wanted to do some holly but with a Nightmare before Christmas twist. I think this would appeal to teeagers the most. I used my round brushes, Royal 0, 2, 4, 6 and the paint is all Wolfe Bros. I have some multi-color glitter sprinkled on it that makes it sparkle pretty but my cam doesn't pick it up but I'm sure you can imagine.

Beach Holidays! I used the same brushes and all Wolfe.

Just one more..

I used wolfe and also my wonder pallet on the scarf...I was trying to make it look softer with the blended colors.
