Need some Laptop Cases

Since so many of you have made great carry-it-all cases, I was wondering if anyone has some black laptop cases just collecting dust. If so, please let me know how much you want for them (I need two total). I have some stuff I can swap, but can just send a paypal payment also. Thanks.

I went to Michael's and got 2 of the scrapbook cases, painted them with black spray paint and laid strips of velcro across the top and bottom. Each case holds 24 round paint containers or up to 32 rectangular ones. Just a suggestion if you can use it.

how is the black paint holding up?

It's the kind that is made to bond to plastic, so it's been shoved around and bumped around and it's fine. I let each coat dry for a few hours before I put the next coat and didn't start putting my paints in for 2 days to give it time to bond. Just make sure you have the velcro where you want it before you stick it down because it will pull the paint off. It didn't matter to me that mine did, because I had coated it inside and out so it wasn't noticeable. I wish I had found black velcro, but I couldn't locate any so I used white. Black would have looked better.

I did it this way because the laptop cases have that foam and I am too OCD to use it. I want something easily cleanable and the way the paint pots nestle down it in, I knew I would have a constant mess on my hands. With these, I just pull my paint container out and wipe round it, and it's clean again.

I’m one of those people that have to hold the paint pot in my hand to load my brush. I HATE the sound of velcro. I use magnets and sheet metal instead.

I have a couple empty black laptop cases collecting dust in my studio closet (converted to a gun case, don't need them any longer). Paid $20 each new - will sell for $12 each +shipping. Let me know if interested
