Are there any hotels/motels close by the convention site that aren't as expensive?

I was just looking this up its so expensive :/

I want to go too but i cant afford the hotel...do you guys want to split a room???

There probably are, but part of the fun is splitting the hotel room cost with four or more other people and then basically camping for the four days. You really won't be doing much sleeping!

Does anyone already have a room and need or want a room mate? I am seriously considering going now and will probably purchase my full reg. and rm next week. But if someone has a rm and wants someone to go in on the cost I will just buy my registration and pitch in on the rm. PS...I snore. Sorry ...will bring earplugs.

ask Michelle, Heather,or Marcella about room mates... The price of the room isn't too bad, if you split. I am going with my aunt and cousin and splitting!.. and staying where the convention is...is the best...because you can come and go to your room if needed...and if you stay for the jams ... you don't have to leave and go to another hotel. and we sit around and gab... I am SO excited about going .. so look for me... MONNA probably the only MONNA there.. it rhymes with Donna... it isn't MONA it has two "N's"... I hope i get to meet some people off this forum... everyone is so great and helpful!!! I need to start writing down names from here ..who are going!!!!! SEE YOU in MAY!!!!!

I am going, I have friends in Miami but I am thinking on stay in the hotel, Who need a roommate?
