Who is going to FABAIC 2013?

Just wondering who is going, and was wondering if any of you who have gone before have any advice, on sharing rooms to cut rates a little? Was it worth it?

I have no advice to give but I am going! I have decided that it is just going to happen. I can't wait. also, for those that don't know, they have now added the Bill Me Later feature.

Thanks Jodi, I am torn between this one in FL or the one in St. Louis, or maybe I should bite the bullet and go to both, need to make up my mind very very soon! The one in St Louis is much closer to me, so that's the main reason! Although I would LOVE to meet you in person, huge fan of your work!

I'm not going.. but I've been a few times, as both a teacher and as a student. You'll like it, though it's very crowded and kinda overwhelming. Just remember to get some sleep at some point and don't even try to remember everyone's name. Get a room with other people to save money and bring an extra bag to take home new product in.

Green with Envy...I had every intention of going this year. But circumstance have changed with my comming to care for my father. Hoping next year I can find an elder care sitter so I can attend....Everyone who is going plz share pics and have A GREAT TIME!!!!!

I am going!!! The first convention ever, and travelling all the way from Europe . I got the whole package as my christmas present - the wildest present ever

Thanks for the advise Ashley. I will be like a country mouse in the big city. But can't wait to jump right in there with the rest. I think I may even compete. Yeah I know a first timer going in, has slim to no chance of winning but that doesn't matter. I would kick myself if I didn't take advantage of the full experience.

Lonnie and Cbpowers, I hope I get to meet you gals. Maybe we could all wear a big flashing light on our heads that says FPF so we know we are from the forum! LOL OK We might stand out to much then I guess.

Jody, you can do something like that. everyone is given a name badge to wear.. you could all tie a ribbon onto the badge or something to signify that you're on the fpf...

I think that is a terrific idea.

I planned to go then psyched myself out!!! I should start planning now for next year so I do not chicken out!!!

I hope to go next year. I just started my business in June and have just spent way too much money on my supplies (went a little crazy) to justify spending any more.

Nikki - Conventions are for learning, no reason to be psyched out, maybe we can both go next year!

I associate everyone here by their Avatars. Maybe print our your Avatar with your Face Paint Forum Name and your actual name below it and clip to your badge. That would be more easily recognizable for me, sniff, if I were going.

I'm going too!!! Although slightly dreading the 20 hours of flying it is going to take me to get there (with a small baby too might I add!)

I am almost sick with excitement this evening,LOL! I was reading on FB where Lilly already has a suitcase out and getting things tossed in. I guess I just can't wrap my head around the fact that it is only about 3 weeks away.
