Hello! New girl from Baltimore
Hi Everyone! My name is Mary. I found this forum today and just love all the great information I am reading on here. I am a Realtor but I love painting and have always wanted to get into face painting. Can anyone in the area point me in the right direction to find some classes or training? I see the Fabbulas convention in Philly in November but I am sure that would be over my head,as I never painted a face before! I did dabble in it a little as a teenager at a church fair but really we did like flowers on hands and silly easy stuff Any advice is welcomed! Thanks!!!!

Hi Mary!
Welcome : )
I'm in Columbia, MD so we aren't that far away from each other!
Jamming and networking with local fellow painters are the best ways to learn. Be prepared to give and take at a Jam though- they aren't "learn to paint" venues, but more of a sharing and caring way to get to know everyone and maybe learn some new tricks.
I reccomend the FAQ on the Snazaroo.us site. Fabulous info there!
There are some great jams in our area- Carol Turman has one in Vienna, VA and there is another in York, PA I believe.
I am hosting my second jam in September here in Columbia. I'll put an anouncement here on the forum and also I can include you on the email if you like.
Welcome and don't be shy!
