Yay! I had my first paying gig today. I know it's not really all that exciting for everyone else, but I am OVER THE MOON happy!! lol Got a nice tip too. Was expecting $80 for the hour... was handed a beautiful crisp Benjamin. I like Benji, we get on real well. lol Thanks for being here... and so willingly offering support to new painters. You are greatly appreciated. Off to spend my spoils at the Comedy Club, laughing with the girls. Nite all. Smile

Totally agree! Great gigs are the best! My last gig was a 1st birthday party with a lovely young couple in their new home...friends...family and VERY well behaved children...I'd never seen children that well behaved, gracious and polite...I was in awe and yes, their nicely sized tip was the icing on the cake....aaahhhhh Very Happy
