Paradise Orange Empty Paradise Orange

Post by Jody Rife Thu Feb 23, 2012 6:39 am

I was running out of Paradise orange and got a new one. The new one is bright in color, more of a tangerine, the old one is muted and darker. I actually prefer the old color as it had more of an "old" look. I liked it for my tigers but the new one is just too bright. Any one else notice this? Have they changed it for good?

I haven't ordered orange in a while since I use TAG metallic orange for my tigers.

Yes the change is for good. Or until they change it again!
Paradise Orange was originally brighter than what has been for some time. The second duller orange, which you like, came about when a few companies changed pigments this caused color shifts. Most folk have waited quite a while to finally have a brighter orange again. I am delighted to have a new formulation in the orange. To tell which is which the packaging is different on those two colors.

Hmmm... It would be nice if they offered both shades of orange. I like them both for different things. The duller one mixes well w/ brown for earthier designs.

I agree Linda, they both are great colors ,just for different things. Oh well, guess I will just have to adapt. LOL
