Loyalty cards? Empty Loyalty cards?

Post by Luvs to paint Wed Feb 08, 2012 4:09 pm

Does anyone offer loyalty cards? For example: a card offering the purchase of 5 full face designs = 1 free premium or full face design? I was wondering if this would work. Plus, how could I distinguish how I "cancel" out a box so no one would "cheat".

You could use hole punches with different shapes at random each day. Just keep a log of which shape you used each day and take used cards from customer and give them new one.

Loyalty cards? Empty Re: Loyalty cards?

I tried ordering some "free" loyalty cards with a recent VistaPrint order. I was thinking of giving one to each person who purchased a full face or premium mask design. I have customers who I see at most of my events and who are repeat purchasers, I just thought this might be something to offer them.

I'm not sure it would work... How many repeat customers do you have as far as you can tell? It might work if you have lots, but I know it wouldn't work around here...

Perhaps something where if you refer a friend you get a discount off a party?

too late, I've already placed this order. They were free, so I'll see how it goes.

It really depends on how often you have repeats/same customers. For example, I did a company's corporate family picnic last summer and was hired a few weeks later to do a carnival that was hosted by the building where the company had an office. I apparently saw many of the same kids b/c a good 50% of them got into my chair and said "I want to be the same face that you did two weeks ago at the picnic!"

Loyalty cards? Empty Re: Loyalty cards?

I have some from vistaprint and I did use them at the weekly farmers' market that I do every summer as well as the couple of festivals that I do... I went to Michael's and got a set of little letter stamps and brightly coloured stamp ink. I used the little letter "P" with flourescent pink ink for each little square. I did mine as a "Buy $10 in balloons and get a $3 balloon free" card and I redeemed 5 or so last summer from my regular customers at the market. It can work, they would forget them some weeks and if I remembered, I would give them the extra stamp the next week. It is surprisingly difficult to find a stamp that will fit those little boxes.

Loyalty cards? Empty Re: Loyalty cards?

This is my loyalty card, I give it to any one who spends more than 50 dollars, so I send them out signed with a thank you card for my birthday parties costumers or at my booth at the mall , saturday I painted 6 kids free with the coupons, they really aprecciate them. At corporate events the hosted use them to do raffles or prices.
My partner who doesn't have a permanet place gig, she send them out to the birthday kid as well so they have an stimulus to book you back because they have one kid for free in advance.

One of the cons I found in this card is that need to specify the range price of the fp they can get (last time I endep up doing my fanciest bling mask with a expensive gem cluster for free) I think I couldn't hide my disapointed face when the mom gave me the coupon)

I have them - I've just moved from the small town I was in, people would often forget so the next time I would give them 2 boxes marked off, I just initialed it - I had regulars there that would be waiting for me when I set up and they appreciated the gesture.
