It seems you can set it for what you want it to accept, I'd start a bit higher I think!

I use Square, and it lets you set tips by dollar amount or by percentage. This is a neat concept, but I don't think I would use it.

At a 10-20% fee taken for the tips, I'd pass. If they ensure that the client gets at least $.80 of each dollar (and are working on getting them $.90 once they get more popular, they are getting a much larger chunk than the square takes from a large transaction. No thank you.

I don't see this as a benefit if you can offer square (or it's equivalent). Square lets you accept either set amounts or a percentage of sales as a tip - no additional card swiping necessary.
