Look! free hand glitter tattoo!
I don't know why I've been so excited to try one, but here is my first go at a free hand glitter tattoo.
It's a peacock feather done on the inside of my arm.
Dh says I needed more symmetry on the sides. I told him I'd like to see him paint on his own arm with loose glue and kids trying to hang off him and see how symmetrical HE gets. boo!
I can see some flaws of un-filled in glue, glops on the sides (it kept running down the side of my arm) and that part at the bottom that accidentally stuck to my pants.
I'm still super stoked it WORKED.

TBH the reason I LIKE doing feathers is there is no syymmetry in real life, the barbels all go everywhere.
Great first go...I'd practice getting looser with your style maybe to give some curves/ flow to it?
And the colours are lovely! I do find leaving gaps between the 'eye' of it helps give it more impact though.
Still 1 of my fave things to glitter tatt - think 60% of ladies choose that at balls etc!

THANKS!!!
You, that is usually my critique with any artwork. I'm a little high strung.
I did leave a gap but it was too big and I went back and filled it in. I really want to try again. I want to try a preg belly but I'm worried about.........
Now I must admit it was around FOREVER!! I couldn't get it off when I wanted, I had to wait for it to wear off.

Did you use rubbing alcohol? I find that better than oils or the removers for glue they sell.
Plus, the more gaps/ edges your designs have the easier to remove - the alcohol can get in under it! Big flat areas of gliterr/glye sort of repel it so harder to get under.
Actually I tend to leave mine on a day or 2 then my toddler sits in a hot bath with me and peels/ rubs it off- thats so easy then!
