In the US- where would you list? Empty In the US- where would you list?

One of my goals for the up coming year is to list my services on more websites.
And I have no idea where to go list! HA! I never throw parties that would require face painters, djs, balloon twisters, or clowns, so I don't know which sites are 'popular'!
So if you are in the US, where do you recommend listing your face painting services? Both free and paid ones!
THANKS!

Google, "face painting, your city, your state" & see what pops up. List on any of the sites that are free. I built my website 3 years ago(I'd already been face painting/clowning for 3 yrs before I got a website). I then signed up for as many of those free sites as possible. With-in a year I was pretty busy.

I have done a LOT! Party Pop, Gig Salad, Gig Masters, Yellow Pages, 411, the Patch (local sites), Craigslist (business and for sale sections), Mom sites, some other face painters' sites - send emails advising you are available for overflow or multiple painter events. I also just recently started sending emails to party planners, event planners, corporate event planners, concert planners, clubs, bars, restaurants. Needless to say I have been working my butt off! I'm in my first year but I think after we hit a mark it will be really busy. I think I spent almost a month listing with all these companies, lots of telemarketers will try to get you too, don't fall for any of those google calls. Good luck!
