Well how I ended up with him is a long story... but now he's stored in the basement with the ST costumes, the props (working Tricorder, Phaser Rifles, etc.)... convention anyone?

I just got a head yesterday! Poor thing has seen better days, but at least her face was decent. I hope that student (got it used from a barber school) did not graduate with honors!

Anyway, I'd read this post. And still forgot the staining warning and used DFX rainbow on her...STAIN! Red and purple! I hope the advice here works to remove it...poor thing, bad haircut and now bad makeup to boot!

Shannon - that totally made me think of the movie "Home Alone" with the light timer and fake person to scare people off. But anyway, do you collect Star Trek stuff or just theater /movie stuff...I've mentioned I do promotions (when I actually HAVE work lol). Many of the promos have been for movies, and basically they ship me promotional stuff to give out to people and tell them to see the movie. Anyway some of the stuff is just flyers and the like, but other things are kinda weird and random, like pregnancy test pens for Juno, bookmarks shaped like anal beads for the movie Choke, and sexy Jesus air fresheners, bobbleheads, tshirts, etc for "Hamlet 2"...etc, etc, etc. Now I'm up to my ears in energy shots, dog tags, temp tattoos, and tshirts for "Gamer". But anyway one of the last ones I did was Star Trek! I would've stocked you up if you lived around here (though just bumper stickers and posters for that one...)! You should see some of the fun stuff I've collected!

Poster.... um... well, I am a Trekkie of the 2nd order (I don't live in my mother's basement... we both live upstairs!!)

Have been to multiple conventions...

I do have a lot of movie reference books but that is for make-up reference purposes - books about famous artists, old movies, horror movies, glamour actresses of the 30's etc. etc.

BTW... what on earth is an "anal bead"... or do I not want to know???

Hehehe I didn't know either until I asked why people I gave them to thought they were so funny! The card that came with them said "For your book not your bum!"

Shannon- I saw you know Klingon! What did that mean though? I'm not a Trekkie of any sort but LOVE languages. I took a college class literally called "Languages of Middle Earth and Other Invented Languages" from the guy who actually taught the creator of Klingon. We only skimmed that though, mostly focused on Quendian and it's other more evolved forms. Really interesting class!!!

Well... it was MORE than three words (so I cheated... sue me!! )

It means "I'm really only an Earthling, but that's a long story."

(I'd forgotten about that down there...)

3) Trekies....LOVE THEM! Very Happy I'd get beamed up if I could.....

I've totally been lurking... the spiderman looks great! I'd love to have a head to practice on and photograph... do you think a standard wig head would work? o_O

I have two cardboard cutouts of Legolas and Aragorn from Lord of the Rings Laughing Along with a load of other fantasy/LOTR/Pirate stuff... since I still live at home its all in my bedroom, but when I get my own place... watch out! LOLMy house will be a fantasy wonderland!

The staining thing is different for everyone... I get stains from purple colors(don't see a lot of those on me!) but the black NEVER stains me. It's different for everyone. I use wolfe black on kids all the time, no probs!
