Re: Show me the masks!
I'm much more of a one eye kinda girl, but I'm lazy. I do enjoy a good mask.
This is my Phoenix mask.
And my quick peacock mask.

Thank you for the encouragement Pilereta!
Going to have to get a juicy fruit cake - I am always drawn to those colors when I see them. Love that garden fairy mask CottonKandy.

Re: Show me the masks!
Linda, your masks are AWESOME!! My favorite is the third one down on the little girl. It looks amazing on her dark skin!! Your masks all have really awesome shape. I was trying to do masks with my arty cakes last night. Good gravy, I need work! A couple of these are going right into my inspiration folder.
Re: Show me the masks!
My trick to sponging on a mask is to sponge a "fan" between the eyes & onto the forehead & then sponge a butterfly on each side. Then it's just flowers, hearts, tear drops, swirls or whatever you can imagine around the edges. I'm not so great at symmetry, so I always try to take the photos off center

.Yes, the snowflakes are bling, they come in a pack of half silver, half white. Got them at Michael's for 40% off, and had a couple of my kids with me...so, got three packs. and took my husband and got more. .
When you're buying bling is it sold specifically for skin or is it for paper craft and do you use a product like Snazaroo spirit gum to glue it to the skin.
Here in Ireland jewels for the skin are the only things that are readily available. As it's aimed at a club going crowd they tend to be a bit on the pricey side. Snaz jewels really don't have the same look.
I'm trying to find more choice without breaking the bank.

Re: Show me the masks!
My turn! I had a bummer day so I sat down and took the paints out and decided to try my hand at Enjoy Your Face designs that I love and never paint. So here's my masks!
Simple swirl mask.
Favorite! Bird mask.
*Fairy* design.
I don't know...Fancy Swirl...mask..thing.
And finally: A mask of my very own! My first uninspired mask done out of the to of my head! So much fun. Let's call it "Swanky Swirls."

Forgot about my bird mask! This is my newest one. I need to try it with a different color. This is with Kryolan Strauss interferenz.

Re: Show me the masks!
Loving this thread! Princess masks are still not my strongest. Cottoncandy... I LOVE the interferenz colors. I have a little pallet of those. Beautiful mask. Sam.. that first teal mask is really beautiful. The blending of those two colors is really nice. Barb.. those are really nice too!

Sam, I love every single one of your masks, the lines and tear drops are so well placed and delicate, just love them!
Kumi, your style is so origina and stunning. It is like nothing else. Love to see what you come up with!

I totally agree with A Face Painting Mom! (Sometimes my awful English don't let me say what I wanna say and it's great finding the right words on other's threads ). I love this thread and I love masks!!

Thank you a face painting mom! I learn from everybody here. I really appreciate the painters sharing their art!!!
Sam, I like all the masks you did
Re: Show me the masks!
I never seem to have a chance to practice masks!!! So... I got really impatient and decided to test one on my baby. She did NOT want to hold still. Too interested in the paint brush. lol. So... it's REALLY sloppy, but we had fun. These colors were too dark for her.

Re: Show me the masks!
I'm loving the stencil texture I've seen a few of you use...especially on the dragon/monster mask. Are you using kabuki or sponging?
