I Just thought I would ask as latley I find myself painting stuff with my left hand as well as right. I am predominantly right handed but am finding I paint on alot of swrily designs about 30% ish with my other hand. although not much other than those swirls and curl designs. but oddly enough can't do bling with that hand.

Do you swap hands while painting and if so what for?
its more of a curiosity thing on my part

I am a weird type of ambidextrous. I WRITE with my left hand, and drive, smoke, use scissors and knives, etc with my right hand.

I sponge with both hands and do the majority of my linework with my left hand. I occassionally lay down some dots or something simple with my right hand if it is more convenient.

It's hard being left handed, half the time I have to stand behind them and paint upside down! lol

I'm left handed, and the only thing I can do with my right hand is use a sponge. I HAVE to use my right hand to sponge around the right eye or it just wont look right! But line work with my right hand? Forget it... ha!

I will switch back and forth... it isn't a conscious thing.

I'm very right handed dominant when I sponge & paint. I do use knives & scissors(sharp objects) w/ my left hand... weird or scary... I'm not quite sure....

The strange thing is if i try to sponge with my off hand it dosn't work it becomes a splodgey mess. and I can only paint with a round 4 or 3.
thinking of practicing more with my left as I can lay out swirls/teardrops but... can't underline/highlight them with left.
