Paint and Twist, how do You do that????
I am just beginning to offer Balloon Twisting along with Face Painting. Yay! But, I wonder how does it work best... Do you offer every child a painting and balloon? Do they have to pick one or the other? Do you split your time and do one or the other? I don't know what to do? I have been doing both but, I feel guilty not being able to get through all the kids when some have gotten both. I end up going over time doing last minute fast balloons for the kids that got nothing especially the real little ones. Please share your thoughts and experiences I have a few of these gigs coming up and my tummy is in knots just thinking about it. Thanks everyone!

I think.. from what I have seen.. paint all the kids then in the left over time twist.

I agree with Creations---that is the way I prefer to work. That being said, if it's a birthday, the birthday kiddo gets to choose, when I arrive, which they would prefer to start with. Generally boys will choose balloons & girls Face-painting. I can give either/or in a line up, but it slows my thinking/performing a tad & I would rather not, if I have a choice.

I always do balloons at the end as you can be sure kids will pop them untwist them and constantly ask you to fix them. while I am fecepainting which annoys me. I like to do it let the boys sword fight and get out before I end up doing twice as much due to fixing poping etc.

I have them pick one or the other. If they want both they get back in line. If it is a small party I like to do face painting first and then balloons but I don't get many small parties.

I do face painting first then balloons. I learned an awesome way to do both from Simply Shonna. It's worked wonderfully and always leaves the clients happy. Plus I always get out on time.
Whatever you do, never over promise. If anything, be as realistic as you can. I had others undercutting my prices and offering to face paint and twist for 20 kids an hour. I find 10-12 per hour a safe number.
Good luck with it!
