Switch from Snaz to Wolfe - am I doing something wrong?
I just recieved a Wolfe neon rainbow cake (I figured I should see if I like it before converting completely) and must be doing something wrong.
It's great for sponging bases - it doesn't smear like Snaz, it feels smooth and dries quickly. When I try to do brush work of any kind, it feels like I'm painting with Jello. I can't find the line between too wet and too dry, and when the cake is wet and I load my brush, the paint actually flows with the brush like Jello. Maybe it's just because I'm used to how creamy Snaz is, but still.
Are the neons a different texture from the regular colors? Or does it just take a while to get the flow of?
And a little off topic, but is Wolfe supposed to smell like the diaper aisle? It's driving my bonkers.

Wolfe Neons are not the same consistency or opacity of regular Wolfe, their Metallics are different too. I don't do anything except sponging with it. Once I tried to use a brush with 3 colors from the rainbow, but it didn't really work that well. I stick to my sponge.

Yep, neons in every brand are a different consistency than the rest of the colors. I personally think neons are usually the worst colors to work with in any brand.

I use a sponge brush (Lowe's has plastic handled ones)

Thanks for the quick responses! That helps a ton. I'll try the essentials pallette.
