is this a glitter tattoo?
My friend sent me this link...
At first I thought it was liquid bling, but after reading it appears that it lasts several days. Is this a hand-done glitter tattoo? It seems like it wouldn't be so delicate and there might be glitter everywhere if it was. Anyone have input? I think this is super cool, they even add crystals, not just for kids!

also, I know they are in NYC, but their groupon is for $150 for one application, apparently this is not only freakin' cool looking, it's also lucrative.

Actually the way the coupon works is that you have to pretty much charge double as the company takes half of an already discounted price. I was approached and essentially this is not completely horrid advertising, but if I was to go for it I would have had to have at least 80 'coupons' for half price...meaning $75 for two hours....of which I would get half of that $75. $32.50 for 2 hours of work. The catch is that this would be limited to a specific number of kids (in the case of facepainting). fine print....$75 for two hours and 10 kids. Additional costs per kid would apply (Say $15 per extra kid).

it's not henna, glitterfly. I did find out what it is. It's basically the same glue used on glitter tattoos but applied freehand with a henna cone. Michelle, you can see the picture on my website. I did that piece for a body painting competition in Dallas, TX. I have it printed on canvas in my gallery in Connecticut
Re: is this a glitter tattoo?
Thanks paintedyou... I have been trying to figure out a way to apply prosaide and glitter as an alternative to henna. I love the look and I think it is a beautiful result... why didn't I think of using a henna cone... duh?! Have you tried it? Would love to see the result if you are willing to share.
Personally, I can't wait to try it... But first I need to pull in some cash from the next few gigs (lucky for me I have plenty booked for the next couple of months); 2. pay down credit card which is hurting after my previous purchases of paints, glitters, etc; 3. Shop for supplies; 4. practice; 5. turn it in to another income stream.
Hopefully this process won't take too long. I am really keen to try this technique for myself.

Yup its glitter tatt, henna would be more raised.
I just posted about the fine tipped screw on bottles I use, we can do stuff like that easily with it.
