1st booking

Hey I got my 1st booking after I missed my original one - after dislocating my shoulder on the way out the door to the party!! And what are the chances.. just had a call to book another party on the same day at the same time, bummer that I can work them in, what are the chances, probably wont have another booking for a mth or so now LOL!!! Bright side of things, at least I am getting the calls!!

Next time ask the second party if the invitations are sent, or could they re-adjust the time they want you since you are already contracted for that time spot. It gives them the sense that you are in demand, and they may adjust so you can still make both events!

Yeah I tried to adjust the time so I could do both, waiting for them to get back to me n ow. Jazz, I have been asking my friends to post my facebook web site and reccomend me on there facebook site with a link. And been get anyone I know with kids to meet me in the park to paint there kids, the kids love it and I ask the parent to take business cards and pass on the word of good work. Please also have asked at the park for my cards when im painting, so basically word of mouth/seeing me. Also try and connect with someone in brissy that hires facepainters, oit will give you experience and you can get your name out there. I am going to be done a class with Robyn and hopefully I will be getting work out of it.. fingers crossed for us all

Wow I cant beleive that I have another request for the same date.. I am stoked with the calls coming, but please make them for diffirent days and time!! Must be something about the 15th!!!

Yay Kye, great news and really exciting. It never rains it poors. Don't forget it takes a good year before businesses start to thrive, but it will slowly build and then it will be awesome!
