I finally have an office at my day job. Yay!

Now I can browse the web for new face painting products and designs without worrying about prying eyes. Wink

Thanks for the warning, Shannon.

They actually are monitoring our usage, but I've been told that I'm "first" in terms of cases I'm getting finished for the project (by a lot, apparently), and that as long as my numbers don't change, they don't really care what I do (within reason, of course). Apparently I'm "good" at doing crap legal temp work.

Of all the things on the planet that I could possibly be good at, THIS is it? ::sigh::

Yay Heather congrats! My friend is doing legal temp work too which she can't stand, but is apparently really good at. Such is NYC right now, huh?

I don't have a day job at the moment, hence the constant state of brokeness, lol. I'm great at finding free stuff to do and deals in the city so if you ever need tips let me know Smile.

ANyway, as for the office...again, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing beats getting paid to look at face painting stuff. Smile

Well, if I worked in a bakery I wouldn't be on-line either... I'd be eating. Everything.

Me too. I love walking into a bakery with all the yummy smells and sights. Its intoxicating. Too bad Florida has very little bakeries. Most people get their birthday cakes from the supermarket. Yuck. At least I'm not tempted to have birthday cake when I'm at parties.

mmmm....bakeries.

This conversations is making me miss St. Brieuc (in Bretagne). Americans rarely have an appreciation for good bakeries. The French, on the other hand. ::drools::

I miss fresh bread every day, and fresh pastries...

Funny, my mom actually baked and decorated cakes and made candy (to sell I mean) while I was growing up, and me? Never liked cake! Or muffins or cookies/pastries/etc. I guess I'm just weird, lol.

My mom actually did, too! Well, the candy, I mean. She had a shoppe selling home-made candy and balloon creations when I was young.

Working in a bakery kinds turns you off some of it though. And it is nothing like the European bakeries!! Loved the shops in Belgium... and the chocolate stores!!! Heaven!!!

Bakeries in Venezuela were an exception for me. I certainly did like the ones there though I never liked them here. They do a lot of things better in other countries don't they? But the fruits in Venezuela I miss a ton!

I miss the German Bakeries a lot!! Mmmmmmmm However I'm missing out on alot of bakery items now...as I have to eat gluten free, so no more crusty rolls, cakes, pastries, donuts and pie crusts; not to mention fresh pizza!

I've had a few gluten free things from a local health food store, and have a decent chocolate cake I made with a GF rice flour mix...but it's not the same! Plus most evil yummy smelling bakeries don't carry gluten free and so I try to avoid going near them now! My hips will thank me someday....

Yeah, the only gluten free stuff we have are Kingsmill rice flour bread and pizza shells we order it... the bread is a BRICK and has a 9 month shelf life... I can't imagine eating it!
