W00t! - First inquiry from my google listing / website!

My newly-branded website just went live last Thursday, and today I got my first inquiry from it - for a 4-8 hour gig at a festival in September.

The really nifty marketing part? I signed up for google local business, submitted my site to google's web crawler, and linked my site to my newly-minted Facebook business page - according to google analytics, the people to find my site so far NOT from the actual web address (meaning NOT my friends and family whom I sent the address to) actually found it by searching google for face painting nyc - and linking from google local business listings. Hurray!

Moral of this story? Submit you webpage to google! And go ahead and sign up for goolge local business - apparently it actually works.
