This weeks theme is? Equine (Horses,Unicorn,Pegasus)

anything related to horses, or horse shaped My favorite is unicorns. Lets not forget pegasus and seahorses

Great do I need practice, mind if I try yours. Sometimes mine come out and other times, you look at it and wonder whose poor nag that was. lol

Seahorse? NEVER thought of that...yours is awesome!!!
So far my unicorns haven't come out well...they usually look okay until I get to the line work and then I bungle them up

I usually do just the "bust" as a cheek art design, but did this full-body unicorn on my own arm last month.

I am trying to get the hang of doing this uploading thang to the interwebs.
I know the pictures are ginormous.

i use photo bucket also thats what my images are so big

I do not mind my images appearing so big.
What bothers me is the fact that you are looking at my legs, which, evidently need waxing. Nobody, not even my husband would notice the hairs. On this forum, people I have never met are being intimately acquainted with my need to be waxed hirsute thighs. Sigh. Every one has had the good manners to NOT mention the canvas. Thank Goodness!

I have been thinking of waxing my arms for smoother painting

I will try to grow more hair between the next post and now so that
EVERIYONE can see something that they would have never noticed, had I not pointed it out!

This made me laugh so! I read it just after I had scolled back up thinking "I didn't see any hair??" Then scoll down to this By the way I love your horses, the brown one inparticular!

Lisa I'd say the reason why no one has said anything about the hair that is cause we only 'see' the art work By the way your artwork is awesome.

Gorgeous! I had a festival this weekend, and close to the end of the last day I had 2 sisters and painted the older one first. The little one sat behind me and critiqued... in a LOUD voice. lol So older sis wants a blue unicorn with a white center, gold horn and rainbow colored hair, full face. I get almost done, when little sis says in a HUGE voice.... "Is that a unicorn??? It looks like a DONKEY!" lol The dad shushes her real quick and says, "That's why she wears glasses". Whooops! So funny.

yay. this one i did a couple of weeks ago on my youngest. and now that i have watched that you tube tutorial i am up for round 2 lol.
oh and that back piece is magnificent!!!

Wow, such pretty designs. I bet any young lady would be thrilled to have any one of those unicorns or horses posted so far.

Here's a quickie from me.

nerevr had a go at painting horses before only new to face painting used to draw them though
having said that I was painting it from an upside down sidewaysish prospective on my calf (so it looked right when I went out to the shops later), then had to get a mirror for the rump and it got even more awkward, upside down, reverse, sidwaysish so.. the propotions were off. and it was a challenge
so I repainted in brown on wax paper.
the wax paper one I painted the right way , to give better idea as it was soposed to be a bucking horse.
