SteamPunk is a hobby of mine so thought it might interest yall. Gears.Keys. AirShips. Pistols.

Ohhhhhhh I am excited to see what people do for this theme! I am already working on plans for a steampunk madam outfit for next year's Anime North.

Shandi, have you seen the steampunk laptop by Datamancer? It is the most incredibly perfect thing I have ever seen done in the genre.

Ok so I had to google that. Will have a play tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

Forgive my ignorance: Steam...WHAT? I googled it but I didn't understand anything (Maybe there's a Spanish word/expression for it ??? ). The only thing I understood was: "turning old into new and new into old". Again ????. I'm trying to google "steampunk images". Maybe...

oooo its a FANTASTICAL fantasy era!! Dragoncon features it and every year it gets bigger and bigger! think victorian or anything really, but only you make everything run by gears, steam, and wind ups. Goggles are a must, as are tophats and corsets. Im making a steampunk photographer since Im always the paparazzi person at cons. lol thoughts it would be neat. Im totally taking this one one!

I think I got it . Steampunk is about "mix" old and new things or styles or... Like a modern computer with huge gears or an old clock with digital numbers...

yes! you got it!! a computer ran by wind up with gears and copper wires, and powered by steam. great job! its about adventure and traveling, space pirates and such

Interestingly, I JUST drew out a steampunk design I had a dream about two days ago. Good timing!

Until an hour ago, I had no idea what Steampunk was. So be gentle. I'm not crazy about my design ..looks muddy. Anyway..it is a gears watch. p.s. my cat, Fatboy is in the picture too. He says hi.

This is just a rough practice piece and it didn't turn out at all as I had imagined - I had pictured the stuff around the cogs and gears to be more Victorian lace-y but I had no idea how to pull that off so I just did swirls and tear drops.

If I have time I'll try again on my practice head - none of the placement of this one would work on a real face anyway. I'm posting it anyway just because I may not get another opportunity this week to try again.

Ok so I tried a cyber arm. All Snazaroo but I don't have any bronze or copper which would have looked much better...
