Hello from Las Vegas, NV!

Hi, all!

My name's Ed, and I've just been thrust into the world of facepainting!

I'm a retired Navy sailor whose artistic background is from painting and teaching oils, watercolors, and acrylics more from the landscape area, but (as my profile picture shows) the theatrical side of me loves makeup! We put on a big show of turning the yard into a Halloween extravaganza each year.

My wife, who is a marketing coordinator and event planner at Nellis AFB, recently volunteered me to do facepainting at her events -- and I had an absolutely wonderful time doing it! So, now I'm hooked on seeing what people are doing, and coming up with more designs that I can work quickly and effectively -- plus teach to the local chapter of the Rainbow Girls (a Masonic youth service organization) who are desperately in need of some guidance in their fledgling face painting endeavors.

And I thought I was busy when I was active duty!

Looking forward to sharing things as I break through my learning curve and start needing feedback and criticism!
