How much do you charge for glitter tats?

on the topic of my other thread... Any suggestions? It is at a ppf event. Also curious as to how you price them out for parties, is it xx per hour like fp?

Where do you get cheap stencils from? Lowest I can get is like $.38.

I charge the same as a full face at my PPF rate, usually $8 for the normal sized ones. I have just brought in some HUGE ones by mistake ( 4 by 6 inches!) and will be charging $10-$12 for those depending on detail.

I charge $4 for the small ones, $6 for the medium, and $7 for the large. For the glitter, I let them choose as many colors as they want, few choose more than 3. For airbrush, every sized tattoo is $4 for one color, and each additional color is $1. It works for me!

I like Faketoos, but I have some from American Body Art too. Faketoos will give you a discount code if you ask for one, and the more you buy, the higher the discount. They were really generous with me when I asked.

You charge what your market will bear. Gotta love free enterprise.

I don't re-use stencils. I am insured and bring my own equipment including table, tall director's chair and signage including banner and sandwich board design menu with 50 designs. My tats start at $5 which is the minimum to cover my stencils, safe cosmetic glitter, medical grade glue, and other business expenses.

I make them with my cricut. Vinyl is cheap in bulk.

The only time I've used them at a FPP event I ended up charging the same as the face painting - $5.00 each (was going to do $7 for one or two for $10, but it ended up being a dead-day )

Just got my first glitter tattoo kit from American Body.
My boys are soooo excited. Now they can do something interesting
while I am face painting. Keep those references coming on

Question: If you do both face painting AND glitter tats,
does your face painting business go down? or do you sell more,
because tats are so quick?

Glitter Tattoos can sometimes take longer then a face painting. I find that they are about 40% as popular as face painting. Almost tie, but the kiddies usually choose to be painted. Although, the parents like the face that they are waterproof..

Well, I just did an event this past week that involved 4 hours of glitter tats... I brought 130 stencils with me and I was left with 8. In my opinion, glitter tats are super quick if you're working with the regular sized ones (.50 cent stencils).

As far as pricing, I find that people are completely okay with paying $5 for a tattoo that will last 5 days. Before I became a face painter, I gladly paid the $8 for the glitter tattoos that were offered at our local Christmas carnival (and all they offered were the small ones!), as long as my kids were happy!
