Missisauga, Ontario Supplier of Snazaroo!

I'm not sure how many Canadians are on this board, but I thought I'd post my find! I was hunting for Snazaroo face paint online one day, and came across Curry's Art Supplies.

They only have the 18ml in the top 12 colours (no metallics or Sparkles) in Snazaroo BUT, they are only $5.95 each! That's the cheapest I've been able to find.. including ebay, Silly Farm, etc! Also, if you spend more than $35 you get free shipping. I ordered some on Monday and it arrived by Purolator on Wednesday.

Their web addy is: www.currys.com and just put "snazaroo" in the search box. They have a lot of paint brushes/art supplies, too... maybe next time! Maybe if more of us buy the products from them, they'll carry more colours. I love Silly Farm, but you can't beat that price or shipping time.

That's a great price! The UK price is 2.99 GBP for the regular colours which works out to $5.61 (and when you add the shipping...)

Depends... if Customs decides to hold on to it it can take a month.

I never order in a rush as there is no knowing what is going to happen... getting things to Grande Prairie by mail or courier is horrible. Takes twice as long as stated no matter what you pay.

Grande Prairie is in the middle of nowhere hehe just kidding! At least it's really beautiful up there!

I've ordered a couple of things from a different Toronto company, and haven't gotten them yet (just over a week, now). I was hoping that since they are only 4 hours away by car, I would have the stuff in no more than a week! Liking Curry's more and more..

I may try the UK if I find some good deals there, too. I'd better get some gigs to pay for my obvious face paint addiction... hehe

Grande Prairie IS the middle of nowhere! And I am NOT kidding. My suppliers refer to sending things to me as shipping into a black hole.

I had an "overnight" shipment take a week... Things shipped by COURIER don't get delivered to the house, oh no, I get a phone call (usually a voice mail) saying I have a parcel and need to go pick it up at their depot - and they don't say where that is!!

That is a great find. They can't be making any profit, but hey, take what you can get right?

I know I shipped about 4 cakes to Canadia a couple of weeks ago and the shipping came to less than $5.

In Store they have the snazz sticks (i think it was 2.99) as well they had snazz character kits (like princess, skull, blood and gore, and others)

As well they sell 133ml. bottles of mehron liquid facepaint, as well as 133ml. mehron liquid latex for dirt cheap prices!

I also got from them these little plastic palets that have 6 indents in them so i can mix stuff, plus they are Super easy to clean.

I also got some really nice brushes from them for under $1.50 each!!

Do you think these are similar to the Snazaroo jumbo palettes? I wonder if they come with lids...

No, not the same as the Jumbo Palettes. The well size is 2 3/8 inch OR 7/8 inch... which means very small, and these types of trays usually don't have lids (at least that I've seen.)

Shannon, what is the well size of your Snaz palettes? I found something similar at deSerres, but I've never seen a Snaz jumbo palette, so can't really compare by myself...thanks

The Curry's beside the oakville place mall sells the snaz as well with some kind of sparkle snaz kit.

they sell snaz sponges (which i've never seen before) plus a beginners book of snaz for kids.

I Recomend going into the store (as theres no shipping fee.... exept for gas) and you will be amazed at the prices!!

compared to Stardust Burlington (which sells them at $17.99 each ) this is the right place!!

(they also give 10% discounts to students, so bring your kid..... if you have one!)
P.S. They are 18ml rounds.

Woops, forgot to add:

I had bought one of those trays yesterday, the snaz will fit as long as you take it out the blue dish it comes with.

and no it has no lid but they do stack, and my top one has a thin peice of plexy glass that has velcro on it and is painted saying "facepainting HERE!!" which can be place on the side of my makeup box (due to velcro) and there you go a cover as well as a sign!
