Bottom of Wolfe paint jar? Empty Bottom of Wolfe paint jar?

Post by bluebunneh Mon Jul 11, 2011 3:31 pm

I received my first order of facepaint today! ( a paradise palette, arty cakes, + wolfe black ) and I'm interested in what the bottom part of the Wolfe jar is for? Can I screw in a smaller thing of paint? I tried finding out what it was on their website but had no luck >_< Thanks!

You should be able to screw another Wolfe paint onto the bottom of it depending on the size.

It makes them "stackable" so you can screw a color on top of another instead of using a top.

I love how wolfe works that way. . .Plus if you stack them, you end up with all kinds of extra tops and bottoms to make splits! They end up being the 30 size so you don't even have to use a ton of paint to fill them up. Smile With my kit I keep two or three similar colors together with the one I use most on top. That way too when I'm setting up, I don't have to lay out everything unless I need it. Saves space and gets me extra containers. . .win win!

Does anyone have photos of their stacked wolfe paint? I'd love to see them!

The stackability is cool. I keep my flourescents off to the side in a stack. (I hide my flourescents) However I still like my paints in the laptop palette.

One thing I've considered is using the bottom part (or an old 30g...theyre the same thing) to actually epoxy to a sheet of something for a pallette. Then the bottom part just stays there and you can screw and unscrew different colors onto it.
