More BLING from FABAIC
I found these in the FABAIC photo files. Just more masks and butterflies I did at the JAMS
Sorry if I duplicated from things I already posted here. I forgot which I do here, at Facebook, AND West Coast Face Painters.

Gorgeous! I love the third one especially - the way you shade and integrate the colours - beautiful!
Re: More BLING from FABAIC
Dear Lord, Please grant me the patience to give my designs the detail Lily uses.....

Re: More BLING from FABAIC
Lilly you have out done yourself. Ditto everything everyone else has said. I love the lips...they are so, so, can I say pouty, or simply perfect. I must practice lips, as I just can't get that effect that you have captured, and it's on all 3 models so you have the technique mastered.
Thank you for the beautiful photos, may I add them to my reference file?

Thank you all!
All to how long they take, I was not in a hurry, so I bet about 12 - 15 minutes.
About that Butterfly, I wrote a bit about that over on West Coast Face Painters ...
MY FACE PAINTING MENTORS
I just love this photo from the pro-photographer at FABAIC. My same shots of this design were #$%^&*.
I go to lots of conventions, and workshops. I was looking at this photo and thinking how grateful I am to the many mentors who are a part of everything I paint.
In this one, the shape of the butterfly, and the big white around the outside are from all kinds of classes with Lynne Jamieson, then drooling over photos of her work for HOURS afterwards.
Blending the black in towards the center, and lines coming down as if they were long eye lashes, was Annie Reynolds.
The lips were Therese Burch (with an Annie influence as well).
The pointy lines coming out of the inside of the eyes was Jinny.
The dots all over - Mark Reid.
The Bling, the line work, and the highlights with pressed powders belong to Marcela (who probably had more influence on me that any other teacher).
Many artists use the techniques I mention above. But I note those artists because I first got excited about the technique, and STUDIED how it was done, from them. Who knows where they got the idea from? Then who the person before them got it from?
I look into my classes and count the numbers sitting there. Like seeds in an apple, it is easy to do. But who can look at the seeds, and count the generations of delightful apples to come?
Hugs,

Beautiful designs Lilly. I love how you are influenced, but are able to make it your own!
