I use, you know those Mr. Kleen white scrubbing pads, you know the commercial where you can get crayon marks off refrigerators. it works for me. I always keep these pads with my pro face. Its best not to leave your practices on it for extended periods of time.

I clean my practice head with pure acetone.
But beware it makes the surface a bit soft but it recovered again.
You can also use non-acetone nail polish remover pads.
Definitely a success !!!!!!

On the question of using Lacquer Thinner...I use it a lot in wood finishing. If you wash the item afterwards there is almost no danger of cross-contamination. Almost all of the thinner will "flash off" or vaporize as it dries and warm water with soap easily removes the rest. I get it on me all the time and a quick wash is all that is needed for small quantities. The amount we are talking about here is so minute that it would be hard to trace and there is no build up.

I have a practice head that comes totally clean with 100% acetone - sold at drug stores. Make sure it isn't just nail polish remover with acetone, but 100% acetone. Cheap, if fragrant, but it works!

what is the difference between the wimex practice heads and the ones at the beauty supply or the ones the beauty schools use

I don't know - I have this head.

If I were you, I'd contact the company that I bought it from to check cleaning instructions.

Hi Everyone, I don't have pad so i'm not sure if this works for that, but when I bought my practice head it was suggested that I use a chux magic eraser with a little bit of eucalyptus oil, rub in a circular motion. It brought all the diamond FX paint off the head, with no stains. This was after it had been left on there for a fortnight as I didn't know where to get the magic eraser from (local supermarket had it, but they thought it was necessary to hide it). Hope this helps!!

I had the same problem with my practice heads. The stains were awful...I kept reading about the 100% acetone. Stubborn me tried Mr Clean erasers, every cleaner in my house, anything I could think of and still there were the dark stains. Finally I went to a local beauty supply and bought 100% acetone in a huge bottle that cost only a couple dollars........and WOW my practice head is clean!!! I found that if you use soap and water to take the worst of the paint off, dry it and then use the acetone it works wonders! Good Luck!

Acetone is awesome, but don't leave it near plastic for too long as it will cause the plastic to melt. I am also a nail tech and this is what we use if we need to remove a set of acrylic nails, just melts them right off. Shouldn't be on the head for long enough to do any real damage bt just wanted to put it out there.
