Our new handmade banner & displays!
Hi all! I haven't posted here in a while, but I was proud so I had to show this off. This is our business' new banner, handmade by both of us (Alex and myself). It was so easy and only cost a few dollars. I already had canvas lying around from fashion school, and all the fabrics for the letters were in my fabric stash as well. We stuffed the letters with some poly-fill and I did some decorative stitches with embroidery floss. I used freezer paper stencils (http://www.frugalupstate.com/crafts-diy/diy-freezer-paper-fabric-stencils/) for the other lettering, and also our phone number is removable because underneath it says "& balloons"! We wanted to have it available when we are at an event with our balloon twister but for it to also be able to be covered up for when it was just us.
The other photos are displays we also made from canvas. It was so easy, we just used regular sheet protectors and stitched a straight line up the sides to attach them. We didn't have any wooden dowels to put in so we used paint stirrers! (Pictured is my face painting partner Alex. Our 5x5 tent is a tight squeeze but we make it work!)

I like the giant size lettering on your tent!! I am thinking of using canvas to hand letter my own logo but I also appreciate the students can collaborate this.
Another challenge is teh volunteer Judges who are from several jobs in the area.

Love your hand stitched banner- No one else has that look- so you really stand out. I am working on a display system similar to yours, but I think I'm going to use a double layer of vynal so I can see the designs from inside the tent as well. -- great minds I guess!

So warm and whimsical, I love it! Love the moustache special and sign, too!
