OH NO!! DISASTER...WTD WTD????

Ok so i put in an order with the place i normally get my paints and stuff from but have just been wiped out over the last 4 days of painting approx 400 children (under 8's days etc) well i have just been booked (last minute booking) for another job on Saturday (today is wednesday) and i wont have time to get my order here I have most colours but am out of the White, Red and Rainbow cakes....DOES ANYONE KNOW A STOCKIST IN AUSTRALIA - PREFER QLD that can help me out??? I am in a little town too so would need it to be super express post?

OR anyone that could recommend different ideas for what i could do instead of using these colours I have a small amount of each left but if anyone wants spiderman or something i am screwed..hate being disorganised but wasnt expecting my next booking till mid next week (when my order would be here for)

If you aren't able to find anyone who can get new paints to you in time, just refuse to do spiderman. No worries, there are plenty of other great designs that don't require red, white or rainbow. Ask if they want a blue spiderman, or a green one. Sometimes our best work comes from forced creativity. Best of luck to you! I'm betting it will turn out great! Let us know how it goes.

Thanks! yeah that is what i am thinking about doing....feel bad for doing it but i guess thats just part of the job :S...

Its for a surprise bday party for an adult with approx 40 kids that will be attending too so hopefully i will manage.

I have face paint left in my old back up kit (from when i first started doing painting bits and pieces that is more like bottles of acrylic paint - before i seen the light and started professionally painting and got my TAG paints that i now LOVE) that i could use maybe that could be an option if i just use it very thinly so it dries fast...

I find that kids are actually pretty understanding.. just say you cant do it becuase you dont have enough paint and suggest something else awesome... i was out of alot of colors and trying hard to preserve the ones i had, all the kids were really understanding.. even the little ones...

If you call them before you place the order to explain the urgency of it I'm sure they can express post it. I've had to do that before.
Amy Grigg is usually express post but she's in the States for FABIAC (check out her classes those of you going she ROCKS!!!)

I used to live in Sydney, now in Florida. I went with Showface, they are in Syd but they are really helpful,... there is also 3arts in Darlington, also in Sydney...
Sorry to give you NSW places but if you need them as a last resort.
