Hi this is my first comment, Fabulous spider!!

I wanted to ask if you did the shading with a watered down black or by using another colour, I'm never realy sure what everybody else does.

Sometimes black is a to hard then I mixed it it with brown or grey.
Paint diluted with water and applied with an almost dry brush.

AWESOME job of highlighting and shading! I'm hoping to get a line on this at FABAIC! I am still having a problem getting the 3D quite right. This is just crackin'!! LOVE!!!
